Royal Mail stamps - 23 October 2009

The covers of Pink Floyd's 'Division Bell' and David Bowie's 'Ziggy Stardust' are both to feature on a new set of Royal Mail stamps celebrating the UK's ten most popular album cover designs of all time. Due to be published on January 7th this set will be a real collectable for album cover fans. See the full story on the Norvic Philatelics web site.

Oasis - Out of the Blue - 02 October 2009

This August, as Oasis announced that their reign as the kings of epic anthems has come to an end and Xfm deemed 'Live Forever' by Oasis to be the 'Best Song Of All Time' in an international poll, Hypergallery were preparing to exhibit a new limited edition portfolio by Michael Spencer Jones.

He is the acclaimed photographer responsible for some of the most iconic images of the last two decades created for the band. The portfolio, entitled 'Out of the Blue', is a collection of limited edition prints of the Oasis album and singles and includes a large format limited edition book on Oasis.

This fabulous collectable was described in the Observer as "the most lavish artifact of the year".
