In the 1970’s George Hardie worked with Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell at the famous Hipgnosis studio and collaborated on many iconic album designs such as Pink Floyd’s ‘Wish You Were Here’ and ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’.
He has been Professor of Graphic Design at The University of Brighton since 1990 where he leads a multi-discipline postgraduate course. In 1996 he was awarded the Pentagram Prize.
