The print image is derived from the artwork Gilbert Shelton created for the cover of Grateful Dead's album, Shakedown Street of 1978. It is the first and only fine art / signed and numbered limited edition ever done of this image.

This is one of only three album covers that Gilbert Shelton has created (the other two were for Texas multi-instrumentalist / vocalist / bluesmen Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown and for the late, great Doug Sahm of Sir Douglas Quintet). Consequently this print is a very desirable investment.
