An Introduction to Syd Barrett brought the tracks of Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett together for the first time on one compilation and featured the previously-unreleased 20-minute instrumental 'Rhamadan'. Such a release was deserving of a special cover and Storm sure provided one. This image works beautifully as a large fine art print with its extraordinary colours and fantastical imagery. Storm's recent teddy bear fetish pops up again here too, evocative, in this case, of teddy bears' picnics and park life.

Upon the release of "An Introduction to Syd Barrett" in 2010, Storm said his aims for the packaging were:

"Firstly, to be vivid and colourful to reflect Syd's creative imagination. Secondly, to be varied and diverse, which is why there are illustrations to all his songs, and thirdly to hint at the darker, sadder side of Syd's life, hence the mirror which is not a mirror, the feather trees of autumn, and the escaping swan, breaking free from the confines of upbringing and education".

In all cases, a packing and consignment cost will be added to your order and calculated at checkout. Responsibility for the print lies with us until you receive it and for this reason we insist on sending prints by insured, sign-for shipping.
