"The design for the large array of beds on a beach comes from a line in one of the songs, Yet Another Movie from the A Momentary Lapse Of Reason album....'visions of an empty bed'.

"I reversed the single and plural becoming a 'vision of empty beds'. These beds are real wrought iron Victorian hospital beds each weighed an effing ton. They are laid out in the vague shape of a riverbed, ho ho, and what you see is what you get - approx 700 hundred beds on a seashore. It took 30 people, 2 tractors and 3 flatbeds all day to arrange them, then it rained and we had to come back two weeks later and do it all again… I make that two lapses of reason. When we’d completed the shot that was used on the cover we turned away to congratulate each other, turned back and all the beds were under water,as the tide had turned rather more quickly than we had envisaged... wet dream or what?"Storm Thorgerson

Payment made to the UK in other currencies will be converted to pounds sterling at the current exchange rate.

Prints are wrapped in acid free tissue, and packed into heavy-duty tubes. The tubes will accommodate up to three prints.

UK orders can be despatched by Royal Mail First Class post, Special Delivery or by courier. Orders to the rest of the world are despatched by Airmail or by international courier. In all cases, a packing and consignment cost will be added to your order and calculated at checkout. Responsibility for the print lies with us until you receive it and for this reason we insist on sending items over £150 by insured, sign-for shipping.

It can be difficult to make a judgement about an artwork without seeing it in the flesh. We do our best to give you the information you need, visual and otherwise, to make your choices.

We can assure you that the artwork we publish, print or market is of the highest quality and that the artworks we market on behalf of other publishers have been selected by us to be of comparable quality to our own.

Our published artwork is printed on the finest paper stock by renowned and experience printers using traditional or modern techniques. They will either be signed by the artist or embossed with authentication.
