Bury The Hatchet was a powerful piece of Cranberries album cover art by Storm Thorgerson that has been editioned as a silkscreen print on a weighty Somerset paper. Storm told Hypergallery "I was pleasantly surprised that the Cranberries took this design of paranoia Dolores' experience of a love affair that went very wrong and turned the table. The eye of Big Brother, of surveillance, or of a Police State, of the inner conscience, pursues you everywhere. Even in the vast open spaces of Arizona, our luckless hero cannot get away. He is not only pursued narratively by the figurative eye of surveillance, he is also oppressed graphically, pushed into the corner of the album cover by the all seeing eye - the eye of paranoia."We love this print - how did he do it? Photoshop trickery? But Storm is for real and this is the real thing!
