Going For The One presents the album cover art produced by Hipgnosis for Yes, as a fantastic full width silkscreen on a weighty Somerset paper, printed by Coriander Studios, London. Going For The One was arguably the band's finest album and their first since The Yes Album to move away from Roger Dean's sleeve designs. For this album cover the band decided to commission the reigning kings of album cover design, Hipgnosis, to create the sleeve design which depicts NYC's Twin Towers as they were then. Going For The One was a commercial and critical success for Yes, and was an enjoyable project for them, too. Perhaps quite a relief after the heaviness of Tales from Topographic Oceans. You could say that the album cover art reflects that, a positive and optimisitic image.
