This limited edition silkscreen print was published to commemorate The Who's return to Leeds University 36 years after recording their seminal Live at Leeds album there in 1970. Sir Peter Blake unveiled the new Live at Leeds 2 artwork to at the occasion of their concert there in June 2006. Live at Leeds was The Who's first live album, and is their only live album that was released while the band was still recording and performing regularly. The album has been reissued on several occasions and in several different formats. In 2003, the album was ranked number 170 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. This print has been very popular and there are now none remaining on the primary market.
