About (What's The Story) Morning Glory? print set

This archival inkjet print celebrates the 21st Anniversary of Oasis' second album, (What's The Story) Morning Glory? The edition has been produced and published by Oasis photographer Michael Spencer Jones following the popularity of his Definitely Maybe prints. Alongside the edition of 195 album cover prints, the album's back cover image was published in an edition of only 50, available as a partner to the first 50 Front Cover prints purchased. THE FIRST 50 FRONT COVER PRINTS PRODUCED BY THE ARTIST CAME WITH A MATCHING BACK COVER PRINT, A SMALL NUMBER OF WHICH WE ARE ABLE TO OFFER HERE. The price of this set is for both prints. Only a few of these pairs now remain. What a wonderful way to celebrate this 21st Anniversary! (What's The Story) Morning Glory? was released in 1995 - the heart of the 90's - and the album cover is one that a whole generation of music lovers will associate with a band at the height of their youthful powers. The iconic cover was shot on location in Berwick Street, Soho, by Michael Spencer Jones on 27th July 1995 at around 4h30am, and the street, though one of the busiest in London, was completely free of vehicles at the time of the shoot. The person seen to the left in the background is producer Owen Morris, holding the master tape of the newly finished album; a magical moment in time. Printed on Hahnemühle paper, every front cover print comes with its own Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity and is embossed with artist's mark.
