This limited edition piece has been hand printed from 11 plates/separations based on the original poster design for The Rolling Stones 1970 European Tour, one of the first commissions John Pasche received from the band. Mick Jagger reportedly approached the Royal College of Art in 1969 looking to commission images for the band. Pasche got the gig, and designed the lips and tongue logo that has subsequently become revered by fans and the establishment alike; the original artwork for Pasche's logo was aquired by the V&A Museum in 2008. Pasche ended up working for the Stones from 1970 to 1974 and the tour posters for 1970, 1972 and 1973 are notable examples of their fruitful relationship. Hand printed on a Somerset satin paper by Curwen Studios in Cambridge, each print has been hand signed and numbered by John Pasche and stamped with an emboss specially designed by the artist.
