A really stunning silkscreen print reimagining album cover artwork designed by Hipgnosis for Vinyl Futures in 1981. Vinyl Futures couldn't have chosen a more appropriate artist to design their cover art for Riff Raff. Storm himself was so fond of this image he used it on the front cover of his own book, For The Love Of Vinyl. He told us that "Since the album was called Vinyl Futures and the band called Riff Raff the combination called for something quirky but to do with vinyl. The model’s face and particularly his expressions inspired the finished cover. The image was shot in an old train carriage to add to the quirky feel we wanted to create." The print has an unusual glaze to represent the grooves of a vinyl record, which is a seductively tactile and rather clever touch. Each print, on a Somerset paper, has been signed and numbered by Storm Thorgerson.
